We go through a quick diagnosis of head gaskets being blown in riding mowers engines and the do's / don'ts that go along with them. Many times these bad running issues are blown head gaskets instead of the fuel related issues many think they are

We show a John Deere GX345, Cub Cadet XT1 and a Kubota ZG23 with the following engines:

Kawasaki Liquid Cooled FD611V-BS02 Engine
Kohler 7000 Series Engine KT725-3078
Kohler Command CH23-76582 Engine

Thanks I learned alot. I got a x585 given to me for free. Getting coolant in oil. I am sure it's the head gaskets. I feel pretty good about this now. Special when this tractor are selling for around $8.500 it's a 4x4 and got a blade with it and grass catcher

It does cuz I have an air-cooled engine and I'm getting a whoosh and pop every time I try to start it I'm pretty sure it's a head gasket but my boss ain't going to believe it so I'll have to double check with my supervisor and thank you

Could one use a low setting on a heat gun to assist in removing the head gasket residue? Thanks for the upload

Thank you for this video. I have a Craftsman which is eating a lot of oil and blowing hot black smoke. I'm guessing it might be much worse than simply replacing the gasket. I looked up parts to replace the metal head gasket itself and we're looking at several $100. I'm thinking I shouldn't even bother to take it apart because it sounds like it's probably shot.
**** What causes the head gasket to go out? This mower was given to me. But I would like to know what steps I should take when I get another mower to avoid having this situation crop up

I watched your Senco repair video, very good, it helped me isolate the prolem. I'm having trouble finding a rebuild kit for senco accuset A250FN . Cant find anything on Google for a rebuild kit. Do you know if they're available under a different number.

All right so I have a question. First time I've seen this. Kawasaki FD750D-RS02 V-Twin liquid cooled.. suspected blown head gasket. Engine runs fantastic. No power loss, no smoking, no leaking. Compression test reveals 13.5 lb on cylinder 1 and 114 lb on cylinder 2... Remove both valve covers and on both sides of the head, intake side only is absolutely covered with the oil / water mix. Milky as can be. Probably one of the worst I've seen but it's not burning it in any way and it's not leaking externally. Would that just simply still be a blown head gasket? Or could there be an issue with the water pump or intake manifold?
