Glad I picked up the Zf. It’s tough I think Fujifilm has lost some market share with this delay, the Xpro line (especially with the unique LCD) is one of the few interesting cameras left

Ouch, that hurt to be honest. I know Fuji themselves said the x pro4 will come when it is ready. I understand that they don't want to include a soulless upgrade with ibis and 40mp sensor. I am super curious what they will do with the x pro4! Thanks for the update, Patrick! I highly appreciate your work. I cleaned my camera closet for tuesday haha

This piss me off so much, I was really holding into not buying other bodies just so I could get a new X-PRO, getting a xpro-3 is almost impossible lately, so they stopped the production and are not plaining to release it, very disappointed

Xpro 4 not coming out kind of made sense to begin with if you look to the release date relationship between the X100 series and the Xpro series. But I am still bummed.
I'd rather had them continue with the X100v as it is still a popular camera and performed good enough, and come out with a new Xpro first than a new X100. But yeah, thank you for not clickbaiting the Xpro this entire time.

I can't help but think that loyal x pro users are feeling a little neglected. If you prefer a range finder or in the case of the pro3, range finderish your choices are very limited. The viewfinder was the initial reason I looked at the xpro line. I absolutely love the pro3, I have never used a digital camera that made me want to take pictures more than this camera does. What I don't love is the failure rate on the flip down screen, something I hoped would be addressed with a pro4. Honestly that along with auto focus improvements and ibis was all I was looking for. I will soldier on with my pro3 while I contemplate what my next camera will be when the time comes. I have a feeling that they could care less.

Thank you so much for this information I have been watching your site for the last 2 years every day for information on the xpro4 it’s the one camera I wanted more then all other Fuji cameras, now that I know it’s not coming in 2024 I will have to consider a gfx 50Sii with the 35-70 instead it’s the closest thing to a digital XPAN and there are some pretty fair prices on the used market . It is certainly curious timing on Fuji's part to leak the rumor of no xpro4 just 2 days before pre-orders of x100vi.

A real BUMMER! Been shooting for 60 years, and my X-pro 2 has been my #1 all-time fav camera! Was really looking forward to higher res, IBIS, improved AF. I’m off to buy the Sony A7Rc, but it was my second choice. So long Fuji!

So disappointing, especially since the X-Pro 3 is discontinued. But at least they didn't say the line was cancelled. There is still hope! :-)

Why, Fuji, why ? The Xpro-Line might be not a workhorse like the XH2(s) and the X100VI will definitly sell as crazy, but the Xpro-4 is a flagship camera in it’s own right and since it‘s technically not as different as the X100VI and should therefore not be too expensive to develop, why on earth aren‘t they releasing it as an interchangeable lens alternative for street and travel photographers ?

Thanks Patrick. This at least is closure for me. I can get on with ordering a Nikon Zf and Voigtlander 35mm APO. And not be hoping for the X-Pro4. Might keep the XP2 as a backup or sell it on. Shame as I really enjoyed the Fuji system.
