What is a solid way to go from the experience of anxiety to peace?
Anxiety is taking instructions from the egoic mind. It CAN be as quick and easy as a choice. To actually CHOOSE self-inquiry or to question the thoughts that our mind presents to us. IF there is an inner reaction, go into that and start the work to resolve the wrong conclusion. As they are resolved, your life moves into more peace, and as Ram Dass has said "Let the judgements and opinions of the mind be judgements and opinions of the mind...and you exist behind that."
DEEPER: My interpretation of Ram Dass' thoughts on this...you will need to start letting go of the idea that you are or ever have been that person that your thoughts said you were. You will fan the gentle embers of "Ah So". "Ah, so I'm not my thoughts." "Ah so, the world doesn't come to me. The world comes from me". "Ah so, I'm not actually walking into a room. The room is a dream in my mind/consciousness".
