Such a shame that BOB was only loosely based on events. Numerous veterans refuted Ambroses accounts, but they were not consulted, or were ignored.

I had a wee giggle...he checked lost a about it, adjusted....he was still channeling that unfiltered state of being from 1944...they did a great job preparing these guys, right down to the manner of speech from the temember having a bit of a whoopsie on my cart( a plank with pram wheels & rope steering)...having a grizzle & blood everywhere & the old guy who's fence I'd hit saying, 'its only a wee bit of blood, you'll be all right....12 stitches later, i was😂😂😂
