FIVE PEOPLE did the VFX on this??? If you have seen this movie you know how absolutely mind blowing that is. What a feat in filmmaking. I've been griping lately about how theaters are empty and cinema is dead. I went to see this on a weekday evening and it was packed and ALIVE. Everyone laughing, crying and engaged. Word of mouth is king. Tell your friends and family. This is a 1 of 1. See it on the big screen while you still can.

This movie definitely has one of the most impressive vfx and camera editing i have ever seen. Very trippy and weird.

I'm glad WIRED has decided to actually interview the people behind the camera and special effects instead of the usual Hollywood actors and actresses. It's SO refreshing to finally hear people get down into the details on how these films are actually made.

Are you serious?
5 people and independent?
I'm shocked by how good and clever/creative this team was. The movie is fantastic and easily one of the best movies of the year.

While I was sitting in the theater, I thought to myself “I really appreciate how this movie doesn’t treat you like an idiot, and lets you discover the emotional depth behind the symbolism for yourself”. Then I left the theater and read dozens of reviews calling it “gen Z tik tok marvel-meets-rick-and-morty nonsense”, and I realized that no matter how much faith Everything Everywhere put in its audience, there were still definitely idiots in attendance.

0:40 This film is low budget?! I just watched this movie and it has some of the most creative visual effects I've ever seen. I would've thought it had the budget of a Marvel movie. And the directing and editing is incredible. I had no idea this was an independent film

This is not a movie. This is an experience for eternity. Transcendental. Needed. Revolutionary.

Much more amazing knowing that just five people did the VFX.

Everything Everywhere All at Once should win EVERYTHING in the next award season if justice still exists!

They literally put Disney, Warner Bros, Universal, Sony, big State owned companies and other conglomerate studios to shame. This just proves that no matter how big a budget or how large your crew the most important things are your passion and creativity.

Studio A24 lowkey dissing all these big budget shenanigans. This low budget multiverse indie actually puts the latest spiderman movie to shame. It's classy, it's effortless, it's just genuine, and to have the legendary Michelle Yeoh as the lead, makes it perfection.

If this doesnt win an oscar for best visual effects, i swear to god.

I love these VFX breakdowns. VFX artists don't get enough credit and it's so awesome how creative they are.

These guys took "if you cant make it perfect make it stylized" to a whole new level. Congrats to the whole crew on making such an amazing film.

It might seem obvious, but I really enjoyed that one scene near the end when Evelyn experiences all the universes, but it goes for a longer duration than usual. It felt so trippy, and being in a dark theater room made it feel much more engulfing, if that makes sense. I loved it.

Nothing about this movie screamed low budget!! This movie was beautiful throughout - story, acting, visuals...everything just on point!

4:45 "The core thing we all realize as we do visual effects is that it needs to stay grounded with what's going on in the story. The visual effects should never overtake that" That was definitely directed to Marvel.
