What These Marvel Movies And Tv Shows Look Like Behind The Scenes

Hey, TheThings fans! Welcome back to another video. Marvel has spent over a decade building the MCU and bringing us epic superheroes like Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow. They’ve dominated the big screen, and now the little screen with their Disney Plus Series, creating the iconic franchise that is the MCU phase 4.

However, while we tend to focus on the actors that have made this possible, RDJ, Chris Evans, Tom Holland etc, we forget how much more goes into this productions behind the scenes. Without the specialized talents of their VFX and special effects teams, Tom Holland’s high action spider-man scenes like the illusion battle would never have been possible.

With over 2500 shots in Avengers Endagme including VFX we can’t imagine how much of the films we should be thanking these professionals for. The question is - what do these scenes look like without the special effects?

In this video we’re exploring all the raw footage of these Marvel scenes and how much was needed to transform them into the masterpieces we seen in the final cut.

Even Wandavision behind the scenes required some major revamping when it came to editing the series to look perfect throughout the decades.

This footage will also explain just why Mark Ruffalo has always been embarrassed to film alongside his fellow Avengers, and how they were able to film that iconic Female Avengers team up in Engame.

By the end of this video you’ll have a new found respect for what happens behind the scenes when the actors leave set. What scene do you think was the most shocking scene to see without VFX and special effects? Let us know in the comment section below. Thanks for watching!

Yes, it can be awkward without the magic but as actors, editors, and a production team they make the magic happen.

This is why I want to be an actor, though definitely tiring, it's so amazing to watch everything come together bit by bit in person! The stage has never been enough for me 😭 even with my raging social anxiety.

Marvel movies featured time travel, heartbreaking moments, and a major battle sequence.

Larger-than-life moments were made possible through the use of computer-generated imagery, or CGI, and other special effects. And often, the most exciting scenes in the movie were filmed in front of a green screen.

It is definitely fascinating to see how these films were made, but a little sad too, there was a time when movies remained a "how did they do that?" mystery which was part of the fun for me.

While all these VFX are undoubtedly impressive, I feel like half of them weren't necessary; like Vision's face being added in post, or the sheer amount of digital backgrounds. Especially after hearing about how the artists behind the scenes can sometimes be treated, it would be nice if Marvel reconsidered their methods to 1) treat their staff better, and 2) implement more practical effects. VFX will always be necessary for these films, but practical effects add a tangeability that computers can't replicate yet imo. And I'm saying this as a CG artist
