My friend is an ENFP dad and has also cried when his son cried, and he was crying because he didn't want his banana sliced.

I tried the "You'll understand when you're older' thing on my nephew once, he asked me to explain the joke I made, I did, he said he understood he just didn't find me humorous, he's 7... he's my favorite nephew for sure!
