As an INFP mom with an INFP husband & an INFP daughter, I can confirm that this is VERY accurate.

My mom is INFP and there are a couple of things you nailed, but some of this stuff was off - namely the parts about being inattentive. She wanted to nail being a mother, so she read lots of parenting theory. Very agreeable mother, but also very attentive to her duties. I'd say that her desire to not let anybody down inspired her to work very hard. Her food is amazing, and she'd make you pretty much whatever you asked her to. She doesn't like doing chores, but what she dislikes even more than doing chores is leaving it to one of her kids.
One part that's very true though is that she really did not want to punish us and seeing us in any pain very clearly disturbed her greatly. She's only ever capable of using love to try and steer us onto the right path.

INTJ mother = relying on the father for emotional support
INFP mother = relying on the father for math homework support

As an INFP aunt, I laughed so hard when Frank got to the language portion. I’ve been trying to teach some of my nephews and nieces to be more creative with their insults. I am so entertained every time they surprise me. No more a**h*le or the like. Call someone an Oedipus or tell them you’d rather travel to the furthest corner of the world to buy a toothpick than look at their face for a second longer. Entertain me and I’ll let you get away with insulting anyone you wish. :D

"I might actually punish you at some point, even though it will destroy me to see you sad and know that I was the cause of your pain." 👀 💯

I'm an ISTP and I have an INFP mom. She is usually laid-back and a bit dreamy, her jokes make me laugh my ass off (bad at housekeeping though). She doesn't understand how I can live without any strong passions and feelings. Even though she is mostly chill, she can always think herself a reason to cry. Her bursts of Te are the scariest thing ever. She can start yelling at me for how unproductive and lazy I am and then 5 mins later be completely calm and I am dead for the rest of the day

I love how each time the normal mom stops talking she keeps staring intensely at her child, while the INFP mom is just so casual and laid-back

I'm an INFP as is my mum and she was pretty laid back, quirky in her quiet yet gentle way, but I've gotta be honest she was also consistent and did all of the things expected of a parent without that much distraction. Now that jm older her quirkiness is unrestrained!

Love seeing us INFP's portrayed this way. We arent just super emotional snowflakes (ok, maybe sometimes but I digress), we also just wing things and often don't sweat the small stuff, plus tend to see the humor in most situations.

Every time I see his INFP videos, I'm reminded of the laundry and messy house that I'll probably clean up in my mind. 😅

Oh man this is so true. The hardest thing about being an INFP parent is that we need at LEAST 3 hours of alone time per day. At least lol

I’m an INTJ and my mom is an INFP and this is EXACTLY like her. She would “ground me” until she saw I was sad and immediately let me do whatever I wanted. She wasn’t strict growing up at all and was more of a friend then anything else. I love her with all my heart but I do think I try to create structure in my everyday life because she was so care free. I still wouldn’t have it any other way. Your videos are great ♥️

Well shit. I feel called out and I'm not even a mom. 😂😂😂

2:18 the most accurate one that happens almost daily. But I would never say it out loud. I just say, "sorry Hun, I was just thinking. Good night."

My sister is an INFP and she would have responded exactly the way you demonstrated! So cool and creepy at the same time!

An INFP mum is my normal mum lol. She always crafted with us, and showed us a lot of nature, saved a lot of otherwise doomed bugs. Especially bees. The amount of times we stopped to save a stranded bee surrounded by ants 😆
I still do if I can, I can't help it now lol. Bless her heart. 🐝

I think if the child is showing some problematic behavior, an INFP mom (when they have the energy) will sit down with their child and talk to them about it, giving it their full attention.

They would try to explore the feelings and thoughts that their child is going through during the situation, and be understanding and supportive throughout the whole process.

They would help their child resolve certain emotions, and slowly, that would lead to a better outcome. INFPs are incredibly good at understanding people that are close to them, when healthy.

As INFJ I find Infp kindest and sweetest person to be with.

As an INFP mom, I think I definitely parent in between the two extremes! Of course, I also have nearly a decade of teaching experience, so that changes how I interact with kids. Show them respect and you’ll often get respect in return. When they don’t show respect, stop and take a moment to communicate and figure out what’s wrong. Typing this out, I’m realizing that my INFPness is pretty blatantly obvious! 😂

As an INFP I would normally try anything after it’s expiration date after a day or 2 but I would never let a future kid of mine try it. Everything else is spot on. 🤣
