I made the AI ramen, but I used double brown sugar and a little less Garlic. I also rinsed the noodles under cold water before I stir-fried the sauce and noodles and garlic together and then I added the seasoning packet + an egg yolk and it was DELICIOUS

Lao gan ma is honestly the best condiment I have stored in my closet. It makes any bland dish taste better

Yeah the cold noodles is a real let down. I combine the 2 techniques. Heat the sauce packet, onions, pepper in oil and add garlic at the end. While that’s heating up, you cook the noodles and drain with cold water. Then toss the noodles in the pan. That way you get hot noodles and all of the chili oil flavor. Best version imo

Actually, in the Philippines, that kind of noodles exists. It's an instant chili oil noodles called Pancit Canton. It is famous and has a variety of flavors. I think the most favourites here are the Chili-mansi and Hot Spicy flavor. You can search and try it! It's really good ❤
