It's almost like reading my own diary from my 20s, I remember leaving Singapore to Canada at 22, thinking I would be back later, that my home would always be my home. Fast forward 4 continents and 76 countries, I am 43 now and nothing is waiting for me in Singapore anymore, my family is no longer there, the one I have left is the one I made. 
Home is not a place, to me it was my parents, and they've been gone for a few years now, so Singapore is just another city I visit with nostalgia, tearing me apart between extreme sadness and a smile, never in between. We settled in Luxembourg, kids are growing up nicely, I hope they realise sooner than I did that it's not about the colour of the grass, it's about stepping into the other side. I have a feeling your departure is somewhat related to that conclusion.
I wish you and your loved ones an adventurous 2025 :)

I'm so happy for you and Kevin. I had the opportunity to move to Hong Kong when I was 20; I had a job offer and was learning Cantonese. The job offer was from a friend's family in Hong Kong and I tried so hard to work on my Cantonese pronunciation but then my friend told me I'd need to learn Mandarin too! I gave up and stayed in Toronto. It's my biggest regret in life. That was 44 years ago and I still am kicking my behind for giving up. (Yeah, I'm old 😂)
I'm looking forward to the merch, especially if it includes rings! Hopefully you'll have shipping to Canada.

Not me crying as your dad was similar to mine wanting to travel when he retires however my dad worked until his dying breath 6 months ago and never got to enjoy retirement. I'm happy your dad decided to retired while he's healthy enough to travel while he's retired. 😊

ahh this made me cry tina!! its always a pleasure to witness your adventure. you're like a big sis for me - we only have a 3-year age gap, but still. my whole life ive been living with my family in türkiye. after a while i finally took the big step for me to move to netherlands in 8 months! so the part where you were landing on denmark really spoke to me. im leaving behind a lot of things, but its my life and i have to live it the way it feels right to me. your journey gives me strength and i hope as your viewers we do the same for you. so much love to you and kevin. i wish you all a happy and healthy journey in denmark!
