Remember this isn’t completely Sirin’s fault it’s the one who tortured her just because he can’t let go of what’s happened to someone who didn’t even love him like that anyway and all Sirin wanted was a family and friends which she would have gotten had someone not press the button so Sirin’s actions while not justified is still understandable

That’s why I love Sirin so much because I believe she never wanted to hurt anyone since I believe that even during the second eruption there was a part of her that wanted to stop herself from continuing

So, relistening to this after playing the lastest chapters. This isn't a hailing of the Herrscher of the Void. But a serenade from one half of Sirin to the other, a warning from the hatred that Sirin feels towards humanity but still loves her adoptive mother and her friends, that a Herrscher even when not actually trying can unleash devastation. It was also a recognition from the angry part of Sirin that both are Sirin. It ends not a question but a resignation, that Sirin's love for her new family will overfill the hatred that dominated her final moments in her past life. The half still clinging to the name Sirin made chapter 9 happen simply to test and in a way warn the half that took up the name Kiana.
