I... I just can't...

I think Kiana is the character who I have emotionally connected the most in my life. Like her I too was a child that didn't have to worry about important stuff. A child that didn't care what the others think of him. I even remember getting in trouble because my teacher kept telling me that the sky needed to be painted blue but I was so stubborn saying I wanted to paint it pink. I didn't like study either, even though the teachers knew I was smart. I only started to get good notes after making a promise to my grandfather.

It was in highschool when all went wrong. I started to suffer from an abusive cuantity of bullying that came from people I once thought were friends. What I was being told started to care to me and got me into thinking on ending my life. Which I only didn't do because I didn't wanted my mother to have to see such a scene. I don't know if that's a new low in self-esteem.

I became way more timid and scared of people that I kept all to myself. After all, why bother other people with my problems? you're a man dude! Keep your life together. (just in case, I was not being serius there). Then collage came and slowly I started to meet people that seemed to like me. But I never shared a lot. I got shocked when after 4 or 5 years one of my best friends told me that they feel they don't know a lot about me.

4 or 5 years ago another good friend recomended me honkai because: Look, it has cute waifus and amazing animation for being a mobile game. And what I found is much more valuable. The story, the music, the visuals, the characters and the lovely protagonist that makes me want to face my ghosts just like she did. The whole cinematic is already sad and fulfilling but when I watched adult kiana cheering kid kiana I just broke.

Thanks for everything. And thanks to you too if you took the time to read the little story of a complete stranger that just tried to express himself in all that the last cinematic and this song made him feel.

Our girls have gone so far, especially Kiana. Her story is a beautiful and tear-jerking story, one that touched me spiritually, emotionally and mentally. I frequently see myself in Kiana, having experienced the same things she went through; Loss and grief. I was struggling through serious mental issues and Honkai was my anchor. Kiana Kaslana inspired me in many ways. Despite the heartbreak this has caused me, I'm very happy to see how much she's grown over the years.

May you, Kiana Kaslana, the beauty of this world, always shine. You may have departed on a different path, but you have never really left your place in our hearts. We love and miss you, Tuna <3

This sentence hits me like a *train.* It reminds me when Kiana is still a brash headed girl who lived a carefree life.

And to be honest, it also reminds me of my childhood. I don't have to worry about anything. I've encountered a fair share of troubles in my life as I grew up, and when I watched this, I cried really hard, because I realized how much I really miss my old days.

My grandma lost last week. Two days after her funeral, my family lost our beloved member. He was an Alaska and have been with us for 8 years. This song will be on my mind for years to come. Not just it is so emotional, but it also so suitable for the situation I am dealing with. It is the mark of the end and the beginning. Just like our Kiana, to all the captains, may your path be blessed with the determined heart that can break through all the havoc in life.
