He came to visit me and it didn't matter how "nice" he was I still felt this eery feeling with him. I felt like I was in danger. I kept my distance as much as possible and slept with one eye open. These people are unhinged. If you listen to them very closely they will tell on themselves. They have a darkness in them. Steer clear of these people. It's for your own safety.

Once you oust the narcissist, expect no support from their families of origin, as they will always side with blood. Their family's ability to deny and basically support the toxic behavior is disturbing, and cowardice.

I exposed and glad i did. I had him arrested, got an order of protection, and stayedv off the grid. No social media. He has no clue where I am or what my life is now. Eff him.

I had to sell my beautiful horse farm and home, give up my horses (to also protect them from abuse!) and go full No Contact with the malignant/vulnerable covert narcissist I'd let move in and live in my home for 5 yrs as a sort of unofficial "son." No matter how I loved him, tried to become a better person for him or how much I gave to him, I could never win, plus he physically attacked and hurt me once then threatened to do it again (because he wasn't getting his way and getting me to sign ny farm over to him ) and he said he'd "really enjoy" hurting me again. When they speak a truth like this, LISTEN!
These people are no joke, I was very lucky to get away by 1)making him leave by selling my farm and 2) going totally No Contact since May, ignoring the txts and calls when he tried to 'hoover" (reel) ne back in.

Yes! He’s so right! It could be extremely dangerous. Don’t let them know that you’re on to them. Don’t ever tell them you’re leaving them. Keep it quiet and get out fast when they’re not even home. Run for your life and don’t have any contact at all with them again unless the law is involved due to children, marriage, or property.

My mother...18 yrs no contact because i drew a boundry for my children for the 1st time in my 40 yrs..shes still waiting for my "apology" I always gave to her after she attacked me. She can wait forever.

It's so important to be ok with being alone, not attached to a narcissist. I like that mindfulness book called 30 Days to Overcome Loneliness by Harper Daniels.

It is horrible! Their smear campaign are so destructive! I lost an adult child because they believed everything he said. But it is so painful!

Agreed. I actually did out mine and it was terrible. I was accused of a horrible thing and the entire family turned against me. I lost it all. My mother and brother who is way worse even tried to go after my kids and separate them from me, but luckily we have a strong family unit and it could not be broken.

For those that loose it all, it hurts and the pain is unreal for a while. But, for the family and friends you think you had during that time that you lost that side with them, forget them, you were meant to loose them. People that don’t take a second to pause and think for themselves and see what is going on or ask themselves “is this right?” You don’t want in your life.

The best thing I did was cut the cord from the toxic life and not subject to this and this was ok to live and love.
