Arduino Basics Soft Potentiometer

Getting started with Arduino sensors. Tutorial to show the use of a soft potentiometer to control the colour of an RGB LED. These types of soft potentiometers are the concepts used in radio and music device volume controls. Soft potentiometers can also be used in devices to create music to change tones and different pitch played when the resistance changes.

Can you share the code for this example.

Great video! One question: In this scenario, the soft pot is used to switch between 3 states (i.e. RGB). How accurate do you believe this device would be if used as a controller to switch between more than 5 or 6 states?

Hi, nice video! I'm trying to build a project like this, but I haven't got resistors. What can happen if I don't use them? I would burn the sensor ribbon?

So it basically works just like a normal potentiometer, right?
Great video btw! 😁

They should call that a "momentary potentiometer", since it doesn't hold it's value
