I am shook. Every single word that came out of this baby’s mouth was more mature and emotionally intelligent than anything I’ve ever heard from any adult regarding these kinda matters. And the way she’s clearly wary and upset bout her dad’s actions but still voices everything to him unwaveringly and politely

I'm glad the father actually listened. When I was around her age, my (jobless) father would berate and yell at my mom for not making enough money, despite being the breadwinner in a highly stessful job. I opened my mouth to say the same things this child said, except the outcome was that my dad interrupted me mid-sentence with a punch to my face 😢 His justification: "I can't hit your mom, but I can certainly hit you."
