Yes, but you're forgetting the word have as in have gnawed... Both of the words are used in conjunction for the past participle never alone

Umm... How is ''Gnaw'' an irregular verb? GnawED is a regular suffix.

I learned " get, got, gotten" however, "get, got, got" is also accepted today. Things changed.
