HOW TO SAVE MONEY | Top 5 Ways to Save Money for ANYTHING

Saving money. It's not the easiest thing to do sometimes, but it's something we all NEED to do! People need to save their money for a variety of reasons; save for a big purchase like a car, save for school, save for the down payment on a home, the reasons are endless! However, let's face it, not all of us are good at saving and many of us don't even know how to save. It's for this reason that I made this video that discusses how to save money! This video will show you ways to save money fast and effectively. I'll go over my top 5 favorite tricks that I used personally to save for the down payment of home. These are money saving tips that can be applied to anyone, so feel free to watch this video and use my money saving hacks!

In short, there are a variety of things you can do to save your money. You can do tings like create an Automatic Savings Plan with your bank, you can cut back on going out to eat or grabbing your coffee from the local cafe, you can do things like create a shopping list so that you limit your impulse buying. Finally, you can also pay off your debts...with the interest on your debts being one of the most expensive things you'll come across!

One thing that has saved me a ton of money is not buying a new car every few years. It's ok to drive an older car, buy a good one and take care of it and it will last you for years. I haven't had a car payment in over 5 years! That's money in my pocket every month and my insurance in registration is less too!

1. Create a shopping list. Stops you from impulse buying and distracting yourself from other products.
2. Stop eating out. Avg. American spends around $3500 eating out. This money can be used somewhere else and its cheaper to cook at home.
3. Brew your own coffee. Starbucks cost about $3 and you get hundreds of cups from just $6 from a grocer store.
4. Pay off your debts. Interest rates cost you money such as credit card interest and loans.
5. Automate your savings. Such as saving a certain percent of your paycheck automatically deposited into your account. That way your less likely to touch that money.
