Today I want to talk about the benefits of avocados and eggs for healthy skin and for healthy hair and nails. I’m not talking about a topical mixture you would apply to your hair. Topical mixtures or oils like avocado oil might give you shiny hair, but your hair won’t absorb any nutrients from it because your hair is dead protein. 

If you want really nice healthy hair, healthy skin, and healthy nails, then you would want to consume healthy fats like avocado and eggs with the yolks. Not use them topically.

Avocados are loaded with carotenoids. Carotenoids are a fat-soluble phytonutrient. Because there is a good amount of fats in avocados, you’re going to absorb these phytonutrients much better. If you combine avocado and eggs, you will have even better absorption. Consuming eggs and avocados on the keto diet, while also doing intermittent fasting, can result in really nice hair, nails, and skin.

This has been my eveyday first meal after a 16 hour fast for over a year. Cant feel any better. Half an avocado and 5 boiled eggs. Bye bread, Bye cereals, Bye dairy, Bye sugar. God, how much my health has improved.

Eggs loaded with spinach, fried and topped with a mashed avocado and garlic, and slice of tomato. Almost daily for me. Finally my nails are hard enough now, (after 55 years of trying), to shape them into picks for playing my guitar. What a difference it has made.

My husband suffered from chapped heels for years, meanwhile me suffered from chapped lips for months. We really did not know what causes all these problems. Thank you Dr. Berg. I watched a video regarding your 4 egg endorsement. I had a stroke 2/1/2022. My speech was effected the most. I started eating 1 4 egg omelette a day with avocado aid cheese. I lost 30 pounds in three months and have kept it off. My voice is still an issue. I recently started the carnivore diet. Keep you posted. God Bless!!

If you like deviled eggs, try them using avocado instead of mayonnaise. Egg yolk, avocado, yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, and salt. Delicious!!

The women in my family tend to lose their hair in their mid to late 20s. I did Atkins when I was a teenager but I wanted to lose weight faster so I stayed in phase 1 which is essentially the keto diet and I didn’t start losing my hair. When I went off the diet in college for like 4+ years I started losing a little hair so I stick to eating avocado and eggs religiously
