How to Tell if a $1 Bill is REAL or FAKE

Here's a couple different ways to tell if the $1 bill you have is REAL or FAKE! Since this is the lowest value bill, there aren't as many security features as some of the higher value bills have.

The main way to know if a bill is a genuine counterfeit is to look for the red and blue fibers.

All bills have texture.
All have fibers.
All will test the same.
This kinda just covered the basics of checking any bills in general.

You should do the two dollar bill, but then again it is the same as the one. Since it is such a low denomination. They still make them. You can get them at your local bank.

The "embedded" colours are from the back of the dollar creasing into the front. Like if you have it folded in your wallet for ages. Like the ones you had pointed out were the outlines of the E from the back of the dollar bill on the word ONE

I was very suspicious of the Two dollar bill I got... Just not used receiving that type of bill. It seems legitimate though, felt the ink raise when I felt Jefferson's coat. Thanks.

Not many people would care if their one dollar bill is real or fake it's just a one dollar loss but I'm wondering why would anyone go through all that trouble to make them including the risk of going jail 🤔

will these methods work on the old US bills from 30's, $500 and $1000? The marker trick won't work for the obvious reason. What else not to damage the high value bills?
