The zombies are very slowly mutating over time and if the humans dont find a cure then the zombies will be much stronger and smarter and then take over the world

I remember when Morgan’s wife in the first season was turning the door knob.
A lot of people said oh it was just the walkers brain functioning is still there stuff like that. Just a lot of theories on it. Now I’m glad the shows are actually talking more about it
