I don’t like how this is being implemented so late in the show. The reason the walkers in the early seasons had similar results of “intelligence” was due to them being freshly turned and still having some remnants of humanity in them (until they changed directing staff). It just seems unlikely that a body and brain that’s been decomposed over the years would even have such motor function and thought capability. But at least by bringing this back, walkers would be interesting again and more of a threat than before.
