3/8' Plate Test 3G | Stick Welding

Abe has another welding test for you guys! 3/8" plate in the 3G position using the stick welding process. This is another type of test you guys will run into if you are testing out for structural and this is how Abe tackles this particular weld test. Extremely awesome and helpful video. I'm having trouble 2G with my Root 6010. Having trouble reading the puddle and figuring out how far to "push" out of my keyhole, but I'm going to try touching the forward-most edge of it, and I'm going to go back and touch the edge of my puddle when I see signs it's starting to cool too much.

One part of the video, around the 13min mark, you're talking about how one of your 7018 passes didn't fill to the top edge. I have this problem a LOT in Vertical/Uphill. I was REALLY hoping you'd explain how you were going to fill it, but you cut away.
