26FEironworks did a 1G test on 3/8 same machine using lincoln wire and his all bent without incident.
His test was flat weld multi pass though.
What is the difference between 1G 2G 3G and so on?

Has other welds from other welders hold to that press? Seems.uts a 90 degree bent in like a 5" piece

would be curious to use a rosebud tip on oxygen acetylene torch to put some serious heat into it, then while its being heated by friend, you weld it? never tried that but used friend with rosebud torch when torch welding cast iron with cast rod.

I just purchased this welder yesterday, was going to try it out today, but it rained all day. so just been watching videos on it, but I have been welding as semi-professional, hobby 35 years, professional body man, bought this for a light weight to lug around as my back isnt what it once was. already got a Hobart 160i stick for light weight.

Are you running a 30 amp breaker .. doesn’t the breaker flip.?? My breaker keeps flipping its on a 20 amp all by itself??? With 035 wire. Any ideas Thks

Struggling to understand why anyone would do plate like that with a Flux 125 ? Lack of penetration seems to be evident. Me I would use a beefy stick welder every time Also a bit too much grinding ? I do like your set up though and as you gain more experience in making videos this could be a great channel. All the best for future views.

Man I hope it works because I got a propane tank I’m trying to turn into a smoker and it’s around 3/8”. Ima change the ground clamp on my welder and get some .035 wire and pray that it works. Lol

pre-heat and go chance you have with that little welder. OR see if you can hook stick leads to it and use SMAW.
