When I was a young single mother Paula Deen has taught me how to cook. At that time I had 2 hungry growing boys and I did not want to cook freezer meals like some of the other mothers I knew. So I found one of her cook books in the library and I would watch her shows on food network. Homemade Gravy, Biscuits, Chicken pot pie and this recipe here. I'm from Columbus, GA. My momma made cornbread dressing very moist, too. She didn't use eggs. She did use day old bread or biscuits. Maybe they acted as the binder. No garlic or sage, but lots of black pepper. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

That sounds so good! I have never had Corn Bread Stuffing. I am going to make this for Thanksgiving, but I do most of my cooking the day before and on the BIG day, all I do is fix a plate and warm it in the Microwave it. Happy Thanksgiving.❤️
