NATO needs Turkey but Turkey does not need NATO.
The EU's disgraceful prejudices and contempt towards Turkey backfired.
The author seems to think that BRICS economies lean east but he forgets South America and Africa as well as southern Europe.
It will be one of the biggest elements in the dissolution of the US/EU "rules based order" and a major hub of truly free trade.
I question the assertion that NATO is the most powerful military alliance in the world given the patchiness of the organization and no incentive for some pseudo "members" to remain.
NATO is now very weak and the EU is weakening. The 'old west' of 1945 to 2020 has run out of steam and free trade will prevail even though it goes against the grain.
High time for evolutionary change and for the USA and EU to have a realistic look in the mirror.
