My brother played this game for years and he was so excited for Dying Light 2. He died before he could get the chance to play it. I'm not even a fan of zombie games but I'm buying this one when it comes out so it'll be like he's there playing video games with me again. RIP Johnny.

This tagline is literally a masterpiece that catches and describes the game perfectly. I get the chills everytime.

Dying light is one of the best games of all times. Played only a couple of games over +150 hours and surely dying light was one of them.

I'm rewatching this trailer after I've already beaten the game once and have started a second playthrough to get the ending I want. I have to say, I'm a little disappointed at how some of the stuff in this trailer is seemingly straight-up missing from the game, and how a lot of the choices you make don't have drastic affects on the city.

Seems like too many of you have completely forgotten the story of Dying Light and have some serious misinformation, so lemme clear a couple things up;

1) The Following IS canon. This is not up for debate. It is. Get over it already. Just because something is a DLC, doesn't mean it's not canon.

2) Of the 3 endings for The Following, Crane becoming the Night Hunter is the true canonical ending. The nuke endings are both secrets that require separate steps each to do. The only difference is that one of the nukes can be activated as soon as you have the codes, while the other can only be done at the very end as part of a choice.

3) Not really a point, but an explanation of why Crane becoming infected is the true ending; If Crane activates either of the nukes, Harran and everything in it will be atomised, there would be no more Crane, no more Harran, *_no more zombie virus_* and what doesn't happen if the zombies all die? Dying Light 2 doesn't happen, that's what. And let's remind ourselves of how Cranes story ends once he becomes the Night Hunter; He attempts to return to Harran, but finds himself in a different city, standing before a mother and her child as the sun sets and the virus takes control of his mind. It's heavily implied by the mere existence of the 2nd Dying Light, that Crane is the one who is responsible for the virus spreading beyond the containment zone of Harran, we know the military and other secret organisations had that shit locked down TIGHT. And we know the containment has not been breached at this point, as Crane finds himself in a different city, but one that's close enough for him to walk to before his first night as a zombie, meaning that people in the _NEXT CITY OVER_ from Harran have absolutely no clue about the zombie outbreak happening there.

The Following is canon and Crane becomes the Night Hunter. Denying these two facts at this point is a wasted effort. Accept it, come to terms with it and try to learn to live with it
