Losing a $1 million contract by shorting a key employee $10k. That's the sort of bean-counting stupidity you'd expect from an MBA.

Story 2 - I love how OP’s supervisor backs OP and OP throws everything his replacement said and did back in their faces when things go wrong.😂😂😂😂

Story 3 - Dick definitely lives up to his name. Also that quesadilla that OP was describing sounded disgusting, and I’ve had Real quesadillas from Real Mexican Restaurants and they are delicious.

Story 2 - I guarantee that OP was being paid hourly and that the "tens of thousands of dollars" they lost that day was likely more than his annual pay. They would have been way better off just maintaining his job.

9:38 it’s kinda fun when you have permission to just sit there and watch it all burn down! 🤣🤣🤣

S4: A crepe for a quesadilla? What!? That'd be like using stringed potatoes for spaghetti!

As a Texan, I finally feel what Italians feel when I break noodles.

Story 2: Replacing a shiny and efficient cog with two lazy and slow cogs. Totally not going to wreck everything.

Guess they actually needed to fix stuff after all, lol

Story 1 - Good thing OP saved the idiot Karen manager’s email and she paid for her stupidity. This is why it’s important to save emails like that to not only keep your own butt out of the fire but to also have the true idiot take responsibility.

Having a horrible day at work. Really needed this video… I’m upset/angry right now so hearing about crappy people getting what they deserve will cheer me up a little bit. Thank you!

Malicious Compliance in a nutshell:
Karen: "DO WHAT I TOLD YOU TO DO!!!"
Also Karen: "WHY DID YOU DO WHAT I TOLD YOU TO DO?!"

Story 4- As a Mexican, it pains me whenever I hear about people just absolutely botching Mexican food. But using crepes in place of tortillas!? That’s just a new level of disrespect!

Story two.... I can totally commiserate with OP. I began my IT career as a lowly Computer Operater, with much of my evening shift work being on various printers, including a big dot-mattix printer using fanfold paper. This was bad enough, but we also used two and three copy paper with carbon paper between the papers. Jams were easy and often, ripping the sheets. Clearing the jam meant backing up the computer enough to rerun the damaged paper. It was Hell some nights. There were long periods of weeks when I was working alone. 😮
I was so happy when I eventually changed positions to programmer/analyst. 😊

My Dad was in the US Navy. He had been in Greece and when he came home he tried to make something he had eaten there. I suspect he had eaten a Gyro because he described it as meat and a salad on a pancake. So he decided to use crepes with seasoned pieces of lamb which he topped with coleslaw. While it wasn't an exact duplication it did taste good.

"Authentic Mexican food is delicious!' Well said, DarkFluff. No truer words about food has ever been spoken.

It always baffles me why when a employie has the ability to fix stuff you normaly have to send off for you dont praise them give them a bonus or hey just dont fire your golden ticket to getting out of the shit 🤔

Story 4- facts! As a boss I can say unless the issue involves every one, you do not reprimand anyone in front of a group.

I had a meeting with one of my guys and he said “you never talk to any one else about these issues” I told him “good, you don’t need to know what I say to other people just like they don’t need to know what I’m saying to you now”

As a Mexican, I can confirm Story 4 is going to give me nightmares.
