Another one down. Next is the new beats pro wireless. I am in NY covering the Samsung Unpacked. We will be streaming live from the event. The description has the index to jump to the areas you want to see. Again Sony sounds amazing.

I've had the Melomania for over a year now and lack of bass has never been an issue for me. I listen to Rap most of the time so a rich, precise bass is really important to me. I do absolutely recommend to get fitting foam tips. With a proper seal the bass is immaculate and passive noise cancelling is also decent.

Love the reviews and one of the few that demo the call quality.

Considering the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 are: half the price of the Sony, are monitors as opposed to earbuds (meaning they're more aligned to audiophile sound), have volume control built in, I think it's a no brainer.

Melomania are the best bang for your buck wireless "buds". The bass is present, but not emphasised, it's more realistic and true. Clarity is exceptional!

Just got my WF 1000xm3’s delivered UPS 4 hrs ago ... love them. No issues with audio lag on iPad Pro 12.9” (2nd Gen) with YouTube vids. Noise canceling is not 100% perfect, but excellent

I tell you man. I found your channel the other day and I keep finding myself coming back. Very professional and well done man.

I actually had the Klipsch t5 and they sounded great... But they didn't fit in my ears at all. I need a plug style like the sonys offer. I look forward to getting a pair of these. We also need to mention the Sony gets an hour and a half session with a 10 minute quick charge. Like that alone for me is amazing. I think the only thing I wish these offered was apt x or ldac support. But I get why they didn't do it. The syncing and jitter will disappear using the lower quality codec. I use a Sony Xperia and can vouch the DSEEHX alone is excellent in all headphones. My Xperia will be happy to have proprietary technology to sync with

Seeing a review of the Lypertek Tevi from you would be SO GOOD! Love these comprehensive reviews

I love how you compare each headphones individually. It’s obvious that you don’t do it for the views but for helping people

One point lightly missed ... the Sony’s have “hot swappable” Bluetooth connection. Meaning, if it’s ever been connected to device B before, and it’s currently connected to device A, you don’t have to disconnect from device A yourself ... when you open Bluetooth settings on device B and tap connect, it will automatically disconnect from device A itself, and connect to device B. It’s pretty fast. So not two simultaneously (as you said), but switching to the other is fast.

Good video man. I just stumbled across your channel about 3 days ago. Your very professional and unbiased on your reviews. I think I'm gonna be getting these Sony 1000's. I currently have the Samsung Buds with my S10+ and they just seem flat to me. Like there's more to be desired with the Buds. Biggest annoyance is the lack of bass.

Superb video review! I have the Sony’s and totally agree with everything you said about them.

One thing I think you might not have mentioned is that the Cambridge buds are about half the price as the Sony’s. They don’t sound as good as the Sony’s but they do sound pretty good, so they’re a good pick for someone who is looking in a lower price range.

Thanks for this thorough, well-organized and well-explained video!

Ebpman,
The Sony wf1000xm3 are hot swappable if you have multiple devices paired.

You do not have to disconnect from one to pair to another.

I have the melomanias, you get lag with the YouTube app when using these. YouTube via the webpage has no lag. I assume the Sony’s are the same?
Also the bass from the melomanias is great, diffidently don’t feel I need more. They sound amazing to my ears. Perhaps your fitment wasn’t perfect

I am sorry but i totally disagree about the sound quality.
I tested my melomania side by side against the sony wf1000xm3 with the same .flac files from my android device. And there isnt even a comparison. Melomania are better far and wide.

I am sure you didnt have a proper fit. I put them in my ears and twist them a bit to have a nice seal.

Or perhaps you tested them with poor quality source. (Youtube or Spotify).

Apples to oranges. The melomania are the audiophile choice AND the sensible buyer choice any day.

I have had both from Amazon, tried them for a week, then sent them back, got the 1more stylish (ok) soundcore pro(v good)and Cambridge melomania 1 next . Honestly the melomania blow them all away, isolation, bass crisp and powerful, loud volume (I updated firmware to v6.6 which added 3.3db.). Really impressed, I have Shure 846 which are obviously out of the league of all tws but the Cambridge are excellent and convenient, I am keeping them. The Sennheiser were a poor fit but a good sound as were the xm3 but honestly not a patch on the melomania. They are not bright unless you have them in too shallow. Different size buds ? The bass is easily as strong as the Sony and the voices in music are clearer also. Genuinely shocked at your review.

Tested both. I prefer the sound quality and side control buttons on the melomania.

Great reviews! Would love to see a "Sony wf 1000xm3" vs "Libratone Track Air+" comparison. The Libratone earbuds are much smaller, also have ANC and the case supports wireless charging.

I just bought the Melomania 1's for a bargain in the UK as CA just released "Melomania Touch", hence the 1's big discount. The sound and comfort in my ears is superb. Amazin blazin sound!👌 😍
The key is to get a good fit. The supplied silicone tips were perfect for me but someone with larger ears may need to get memory foam tips.

I've just listened to Faithless live at Alexandra Palace "God is a DJ" & "Insomnia" on them followed by Nirvana & "Anarchy in the UK" by The Sex Pistols.
The Melo's rocked it out to perfection.

Imo the bass isn't subdued at all on them. It's just how the music was actually created.

The Melo's also have some water resistance. The Sony's you reviewed i don't think have. We need some rain resistance in the UK winter looool. 🤣

Every reviewer l've seen is all over the Sony's currently. So I will buy them when I can afford them, hopefully by the Spring lol. I've no doubt they will be great. So they should be cos they're at least double the price here.
