This Avata thing is so loud, it’s almost impossible to fly without drawing attention from annoyed public. Any review that fails to mention this is biased imho.

250 gram drones are blown away by very strong winds!

The mini 3 pro is so quiet and low profile, it allows you to take off anywhere and is almost silent. Total Game changer. No other drone comes close to how stealth it is.

Ich habe die Avata und bin zufrieden mit ihr. Die folgefunktion der m3p ist nicht so dynamisch und ich liebe fpv-aufnahmen

Pretty obvious, if you need FPV, get the Avata. If not, M3P all the way. Oh, and as a new drone owner, if you are going to be flying anywhere near people at all, then a quiet drone is more important than you think.

That's a pretty straight-forward comparison review! Quick but detailed! Good job!

got to love DJI, they make a new great drone and again leave out simple features like the track me feature, this way you are almost forced to have two drones...

Having both will allow significant advantages to aerial video shoots. It makes for a terrific combination in my opinion 👍🏻

You missed one key difference: the much louder and high-pitched noise of the Avata compared to the Mini 3 Pro. I don't want to raise any unnecessary attention where I'm flying, therefore the Avata is a clear no-go for me. The wrist controller would be nice to have on other DJI drones though.

For me, at least, the Avata loses out: a)endurance b)single axis gimbal! (any 'Horizon Levelling' available?) c)range d)inferior camera/sensor! BUT without DJI FPV Goggles V2/HD Goggle compatibility the Mini 3 Pro also losese out! ANSWER build your own/RTF bundle!

Just bought my M3P after careful thoughts

Avata is good for many kind of cool shoot but i cant live with the 18min batt and i need the normal controller instead of the FPV controller (which u need to purchase separately)

And the cmos sensor on the M3P is bigger so i think avata i can wait for a little longer.

Register the drone. No big deal. It's only $5 bucks to register it for 3 years. Than you can fly a drone below 55 PDS and lighter. Win, win.

DJI 48mp camera is not actually a 48mp camera? Or is it?
