Physical Therapy First demonstration of Supine lumbar rotation stretch
Starting Position: Lie flat on your back with your legs extended straight. Keep your arms by your side. Engage your core and maintain a neutral spine.
Movement: Lift one leg, bend that knee to at least 90 degrees, and slowly rotate it inward across your body toward the floor, keeping the opposite leg extended. Allow your torso to remain flat on the ground while feeling a gentle stretch in your lower back and hip. Hold briefly, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
Perform as prescribed by your therapist, ensuring smooth and controlled movements throughout the exercise.
