A great fact about that duke mount is the unlimited water bucket you can use it while flying to get the buff permanently if you use a consistent

For using both slime saddles for so long. It made me uncomfortable to use other ones.
Its drop speed is just really convenient especially against flying bosses (In which most bosses are), it's also super duper good for vertical travelling, I'd maybe swap it out for a fishron mount when it rains though.

If you are in journey mode, just set rain to 1% (that works just fine with the cute fishron mount)

The slimy sadly is such an underrated gem. Also the slime hook is great until the skeleton hand or the biome hooks in hardmode. Usually I use it well into hardmode until I get a better hook from a mimic. Those two drops make kind slime great. It erks me when people hate on him

Second best is I think witch broom. It is also infinite flying mount, that has better base stats than any other flying mount and at same time it doesnt increase you size so you can fit in doors, unlike other mounts.

and used it to find sky island

Slimy saddle is so good for going down hellevators and dodging during bosses that I legitimately be equipping it for my entire run and not even thinking about it sometimes

People forget the Cute Fishron mount get the speed boost when you're below 50% health too

Nope... Wings are everything to me, that's why I don't switch to mounts... Except perhaps for mod bosses, where less mobility and eternal flight play into my hands. The spirit of purity and the laser walls of DoG as examples.

the shrimpy truffle is viable against moonlord when its not raining you just have to nail his attacks i managed to beat him using a ranged loadout using it
