Im most happy with music when I don’t get caught up in the numbers. When I remember I’m creating art not ‘content’. Email Marketing is not dead.. you're absolutely right Andrew. Music Artists have the best opportunity to collect emails and create a fan base they can directly communicate with about everything new music, merchandise, etc. It's a good resource and a good addition to a marketing campaign

i think for beginners its ok to do a song very week or 2 weeks until you have 5 or more songs, so that when you do ads people can become fans, because usually 1 song doesnt turn people into fans

don't neglect local physical marketing. i went around my city and promoted my tacks with small a4 'posters' and sticky notes!

awesome, man, love your stuff i amire your honesty, the other tip i find realy helpful is promote the songs for up to three months at a time, ive had bigger results threw spotify and youtube by doing so, ive ended up on bigger spotify playlists after three months promo on all 3 songs, im finding the longer i promote my songs the better the results, like u say i release mine every six to eight weeks, for period of up to three months, do you do fb ads for other people ?

So let me ask you this. You say release every 4 to 6 weeks, BUT the major artists release like 3 to 4 a year, on average. Why do you suggest basically 8 to 12 a year? Isn't that an insane amount?

Are you looking to use contextual targeting solutions as 3rd party cookies are deprecated and audience targeting/retargeting becomes less viable? I am using YouTube Ads with placements and Google Display Ads on targeted website placements to generate email leads. I'm also using on platform remarketing. I am also looking into different contextual solutions to pair the right message at the right time for the right person. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
