God I just want to be an artist and relax. This constant, evolving hustle culture is so tiresome😔

Really good advice as always, thank you Andrew! I think the prioritising to search for brand deals and looking into how to get my music out in spacial audio are the two biggest helps for me right now.

Hey brother! Not sure if you will see this and didn't wanna email or dm and clutter your inboxes, but, have you noticed any changes in fb ads lately? I started a campaign a few days ago and have been running $10 a day, about $28 spent and 10k reach but ZERO conversions. Not sure why, as this has never happened to me! Any insights helps, thanks bro!

I'm a dev also working on AR/VR and incorporating music. This is a great thing considering we have another way to consume content.

Hope I'm not the one who's getting low-key tired of conversations about AI, AI music, AI artists, algorithms and technologies in general. Yes, I do post content and I'm present on social medias, but more I hear about all that stuff, more I understand how valuable real connection between real people is. And I have so much hope that at the end of the days people will crave authenticity, just like Andrew said. Peace 👏

I just searched for Taran Gray on tiktok and youtube. It looks like he only has 54 followers on tiktok and like 80 on youtube. What am I missing and why should I listen to him for music marketing advice?

“Don’t worry about AI because while it will be much harder to make a living doing it you’ll still be able to enjoy the creative process” is missing the point.

It is the monetary damage that worries people - the engineers, session players, producers etc etc.

It won’t go away, but it will be much much harder when a 3 year old can slip on a mouse and accidentally click on a button that makes the next professionally sounding viral song. And that takes away a big chunk of the fun for the “real” musicians too I’m sure.

"One day you're gonna die so dont worry cause nothing you do matters in the grand scheme of things" is the vibe I'm getting from some of those guest clips, which seems awfully nihilistic and dismissive of all the massive effect AI will have on everything music related.

It'd be a far easier thing to do if I wanted to go do some dull work that I didnt care about, make actual money, live relatively easy and boring, and then croak. I would have just been an accountant 😂

You’re straight up not confident yet with your own voice if you’re that scared of AI
