Update: We have found World 4 Skip and an alternative World 2 Skip. This means coinless is much easier now and is possible on all versions without abilities. The alternative World 2 Skip lands Sly on the building and you can actually clip inside without roll on the remaster specifically.

I like the idea of Sly sincerely believing that he’s just visiting old family friends and getting his father’s book back. Like there’s no irony to his intentions, even as he sneaks into these criminals’ lairs; any fight has Sly misunderstanding the villains’ intentions and any time they’re defeated, it’s either an accident or the villain lands themselves into trouble.

Even as Clockwork falls into the lava and burns to death, he looks up at Sly’s innocent face and sees nothing but friendly intentions.

“Who... what are you?”

The orange glow of the magma lights up Sly’s face as he smiles warmly at his father’s oldest and greatest friend, not even blinking as molten embers swirl around his head and Clockwork cries in agony.

“Me? I’m Sly Cooper, the friendliest man in the world! Thanks giving my father’s book back, I’ll call an ambulance for those burn wounds right away!”
