Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.

We are a small mushrooms production business in Morocco. I've seen these start-ups before, and I always enjoy seeing them growing. Thanks @InsiderBusiness for letting the people know that it's a huge part of the future economics 🍄

the importance of these technologies and efforts simply cannot be overstated. it is plain criminal that every single government is not actively encouraging these companies.

I've just had a oyster mushroom growing kit from an inspration in fungi, and then when we left it, my family were amazed! in how fast they were growing, and in just a week it was ready to harvest.
THE MUSHROOMS! WERE BIGGER THAN THE BOX ITSELF!!! and we had a good feast out of it! as a mushroom stir fry. It was real good too, so I recomend getting yourself one!

Feels good to know that a person's body can go back and become a part of nature. green burials are a really good practice.

Mushrooms did wonders in my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

am I misunderstanding? Coffee grounds are very good for soil. They add nitrogen to them, which makes it easier for plants to grow bigger. In fact, you should use your own coffee grounds at home in your garden if you have one. Same with eggshells and milk that's expired.

Reminds me of a manga called Metro Labyrinth (Meikyuu Metro) where the world is engulfed in mycelium, and monsters exist with fungal cores, and humans lost technology and became a fantasy medieval tier of technology where mycelium is a part of everything, including equipment and spells and such, and its a part of their body.

So you grow a sword out of your flesh and it becomes an extension with properties of metal, but looks like mycelium. You heal by creating mycelium orbs of which you eat to boost regeneration, etc.

Humans hunt monsters and eats their core, gaining power.

Happy to see those creative, dedicated, and wholesome people.

I hope nothing bad happens to them once they grow their businesses as it now happens to those promoting renewable energy.
The big companies won't go after them as big oil companies do now on those promoting alternative sources of energy, right?

Right?

I recently wrote a story about an advanced civilization that created a fungus to replace concrete and eventually that fungus covered so much of the planet and was conducive it became sentient and watched as it was to late for its creators and they died to over population and pollution, but a human ended up vising the planet and befriending the fungi, that had eventually spread and turned into the entire planet. It was a really fun story and this video gives me goosebumps thinking about it.

MORE MUSHROOMS!

All of the eco uses are great but just being able to eat more kinds of mushrooms is enough to make me happy!

What an exciting video ! I really liked the part where they talk about using fungi as a replacement for packaging and leather materials. I was also quite intrigued about the green burial method and I hope that such an option will be available to deal with my remains once I leave this world.

I'm always skeptical of these green companies, but if they _really can_ provide an alternative for considerably less money, *that* is what will trigger widespread adoption. The real world works on what is easiest and cheapest. Not on what is morally best.

If you manage to get both at the same time however, _that_ is what makes progress.
