Mushroom growing seems to be intuitive and scientific. There are many variables that can affect the growth of a good mushy batch, and the team at Psacred Therapeutics in Jamaica is coming up with new solutions all the time. #shorts #mushroomedu #fungiscience #fungi #mushroomgrowing #cubensis #jamaica

I often refer to mushroom cultivation as a crossroads in science, farming and art

They're talking about how mushrooms absorb everything but then growing them in plastic. I know it's very common practice to grow in plastic bags inside but I imagine with heat and moisture a fair amount of BPA is released into the mushrooms. I have my indoor grow in plastic bins but it's one of the reasons I'm trying to transition into growing entirely outdoors on logs and wood mulch.

No, there isn't "a million" ways to do it. Mushrooms all have very specific requirements for fruiting.
