seems like you left the s24 Ultra out on purpose, while using the others' flagships. Kind of unfair considering the regular s24 ( even the + ) fails in comparison on many levels compared to the Ultra.

Not a fan of you purposely leaving out the s24 ultra

Curious as to why you chose to run this test with the base s24 and not the s24 ultra? Especially when you opted for the top models for other manufacturers.

1. In the first footage P8P has more details than iPhone. Even when iPhone has ProRes.
2. Bro.... 400k subs. Could have find yourself an S24 Ultra for the test

Why are you comparing the top of the line phones against the base S24 and not the S24 Ultra? Your "test" is useless.

Why are you using S24 a nd not S24Ultra ?. This would be a fair video with Ultra in it

Not a fair fight, no log or pro except for apple and with pixel mentioned once or twice, also the max vs s24, where's the plus or ultra, 8k and pro modes? Were getting to the truth slowly but surely, even then it won't convince everyone but still good to have all facts

iPhone makes people's skin orange.

But you used S24 simple, not ultra! But you have chosen the Max Pro for iPhone. Unfair comparison.

The iPhone was the best at handling challenging conditions. Really impressive how well it handled the scene at 7:00. It has an accurate white balance, contrast, and colours in most scenarios too. And on top of that it's reliable, and does not drop frames. What all manufacturers need to work on next though is handling bright sunlight, because once there is too much light the shutter speed goes way up, and the video starts looking crackly and unpleasant. The quality is there, but high shutter speed and not being able to maintain the 180 degree rule is one area that makes smartphone videos still look like they came from a smartphone.

Curious about the overheating issue with the Pixel. Was it fixed?

Great coverage, mate, though personally i would prefer to see also the footage from Vivo X100 Ultra

It's not fair to not use the native focal length of the op 12 while recording video and cropping for 5x, it's massively hinders the video quality and it's not the focal length people would normally use, and I've never seen a reviewer do that with 3x iphones.

I wish the vivo x100 was in the video, vivo has stepped up their video game drastically this year.

Why leave out the Galaxy S24 Ultra? Strange comparison to leave it out...

for shooting video the iPhone's is the best but for taking pictures I mean nobody and I mean nobody is beating the pixel 8 pro baby

Using the Base S24 to compare against the Pro version of the Pixel and iPhone is very unfair

Not a big fan of iPhone but unarguably iPhone is the best smartphone for video on planet period.

iOS is definitely NOT better. The hardware is almost always "better", but the OS is restrictive and nearly archaic in many ways. Sadly the 3rd party apps are better on iOS due to more control by Apple. Still, I'm selling my iPhone 15 Pro Max to go back to Android. Great video!
