I am not an iPhone fan. But with this issue using an android phone for Instagram stories makes me want to switch to an apple phone.

I think iPhone is basically the ultimate social media smartphone. Most apps are optimized for iOS.

My theory is that Apple have a contract with Snapchat and/or Instagram to make people switch over to iOS instead of the increasingly strong Android competition... but that's just what I'm thinking

Reason I bought iPhones back in college.
•Clear snapchat photos
•Clear Instagram stories
•Clear photos when I upload on my facebook and stories on messenger.

But after quitting social networking apps after I graduated, I find that iphones are really boring..
I’ll use my 7+ till’ it breaks anyway.. I’ve saved enough I’ll get a new flagship android phone for this or next year.

Im a midrange android user. And im really fond of having IG stories every minute or hours. But i still didn’t achieve the quality what other IG users have. So i switch to iphone 5s. Its really better than the 24mp front camera of my android phone.

Even uploading from your camera roll to your story makes the quality so bad, even if the photo itself has good quality. I have a Samsung A70.

I hate it when IG stories doesn't fit on my phone's screen. It gets cropped, you can't even see the text etc. when its placed on the edge of the photo.

Even if you share content created with a DSLR it's always pixelated, it drives me nuts

Apple's ecosystem and optimization is better than most android phones, but that wouldn't urge me to switch.

Honestly lately I've been tempted to switch to iPhone because I use IG for marketing posts for my business except I really love Android and been using it my whole life. I really wish Instagram was optimized for some flagship Androids and I'm considering trying out Samsung's Instagram mode.

I literally hate apple but I'm really self conscious about the fact that ig stories are trash with my Huawei and I end up having 0 pics with my friends whenever I need one, so I'm seriously thinking about getting an iPhone.

I always use the native camera app of the phone I'm using be it iOS or Android before uploading anything on instagram.

Yup. I switched to iPhone after realising that the Boomerang GIF on Instagram story taken with an iPhone is way better and sharper than the ones taken on Samsung or Android phones.

I've always been a Samsung fan. But Instagram really makes me want to switch to an Iphone. Even if Samsung has better ROI for your money. Sucks 🥵
