Every effect has a cause, but not every thing is an effect. God is not an effect. He is the uncaused cause.

We have to remember that God isn't a person, a human, a man like we are. He is a pure spiritual being. We will never fully understand Him and the power He has. For all we know, before our universe was created, God had created other things. Other universes and other life forms, other elements, etc. You'd get a headache thinking about "eternal life".Even thinking about our souls going to heaven or hell FOREVER is a hard concept to think about. IF we understood all things about God, we ourselves would be God. Humans are very limited compared to God.

Who created God, is a question that PRE-SUPPOSES that God had a beginning. Only beginnings need a cause. However, God is *beginningless, * therefore He's *causeless.*

Thought provoking, allowed me to research and learn more about Einstein. So far, they're honest.

The problem is that both theists and atheists alike are under the assumption that the bible (KJV) teaches that this earth is God's first and only rodeo.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made >THAT WAS MADE<. John 1:3 (KJV); For God to exist he must do so in a place or space (no matter how minuscule or vast), and there must be time for God to contemplate ANY creation (no matter how minuscule or vast), and God cannot create himself nor the time and space for himself to exist in, therefore God, time, and space have always been and will always be. Now before you cite Isaiah 46:10 (KJV), know this “Outside of time” is not a thing and nowhere is it written that God is a time traveler. God knows the end from the beginning because he is the cause of the beginning, middle, and end: 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Romans 9:17 (KJV)
And
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7 (KJV). God knows the heart of man, he softens or hardens to bring about his purposes and will.
And then you have John 1:1 and John 1:2, and to say that John 1:2 is a reiteration of John 1:1 is absurd. These are two different beginnings. John 1:1 is the beginning creation of this earth that started 13, 500yrs ago. By God’s righteousness he cannot create man with a free will without a plan of salvation knowing that man will give into the lusts of the flesh and be servants of death. From the beginning that plan is the Word (Law) that entails a savior that completes or finishes the law (Word). Jesus was chosen to be that savior (the Word made flesh). The Word is not Jesus, but Jesus is apart of the Word. (God’s law is the “God” we are to love with all our heart, soul, and mind, Matt. 22:37).
John 1:2 is the beginning of God's initial creating, starting with the "word" (the “only begotten”) (a plan and rules for creation, John 1:3 (KJV)). We are not told how long ago this beginning was but by our finite senses of the known universe we know that it was over googol of years ago.
All glory to God. Amen

I think its obvious that there are questions we would never have the answers for and thats okay. Its the entitlement of people to think we deserve all the answers

You can't believe in a creator whilst also believing in cause and effect. That becomes a contradiction. If cause and effect has a beginning/end then the whole system falls apart and makes no sense. If you believe in cause and effect, then you have no choice but to accept that the creator also had a creator.

Space, time and matter were all created at the same moment in time. You can't have any one here without the others, you can't have two without the third.

To believe everything we know, that we can see, that we can understand came from nothing and by nothing is an infinitely greater leap of faith than Genesis 1:1 to start.

It's mankind's love of ourselves and our lustful/ sinful desires that has us so want to deny an all knowing, all powerful God. We by such want to be our own lil gods. This is not sustainable in a functional society of billions of individual people.🙏✝️🙏

What is eternity?

Eternity is eternal time, or should I say time itself that is existing simply due to God's own existence because time itself just needs something else to exist in order to have its own existence and God is something.

Since that is the case, then God is not outside of time itself rather he is outside of the timeline that he created for our universe.

A timeline is finite, but time itself is not.

Nope sorry physics says you can't get something from nothing also for there to be creation there must first be information and information can't exist without intelligence in an all-powerful creator

man it’s a myth like all fairy stories it’s just that people are so feeble minded they need a crutch. Grow up and live your life without fear of offending some ridiculous stories

Making something up because we don't know something is not a brilliant answer to me
