I make these and have beautiful examples I'm putting up on my channel. I need to study up on closing then though, because I have many beautiful rings that I cannot close properly. Anyway keep it up, and I'll check in on your work to see how you have come along.
Try twisting many tiny wires together and heating and twisting and hammering until they are one, it's neat, I use a torch. I think you'll dig it. Good Luck🍀
