Leopard geckos are actually excellent climbers. Give them the opportunity and they will. Anything textured is perfect for them. Dispute leopard geckos being labeled as Insectivors, they are opportunistic predators in the wild. I feed mine a pinky once every month and he goes crazy for them.

Hi, I'm a little new to owning my leopard gecko. I'm down in Florida and with hurricane season coming, I want to make sure I'm prepared. I have a decent travel tank picked out, substrate, all that. Is there a heating pad that's safe for those travel tank plastics? I doubt a lamp would work. Last year we spent 4 days in West Palm, so I need to make sure she's happy for a few days to a week

They are cute here is something to know about them is that you don’t want them to bite you because they are venomous and can make you feel lightheaded but they are pretty docile/chill ❤ and not so hard to take care of .

Sorry but not Southeast Asia. That would mean Thailand etc. They are from Iran Afghanistan area. My Leo loves when I take him out of his tank and roam around a room when I am reading or watching vids. Thanks for the vid.

I’m debating between getting a crested gecko or leopard gecko, when it comes to feeding leopard geckos is it hard I’m a bit squrmish when it comes to bugs and them getting out and in my room. I’m sure you get more comfortable and used to it but idk I am more appealed to leopard geckos as they are not fully nocturnal and don’t climb

I have a 10+ year old leopard gecko that has lived in a 20 gallon long tank with a UTH for his entire adult life. He had been completely healthy and thriving up to this day. Do you have reputable and scientific research that shows that I would need a larger enclosure and overhead lighting to all of a sudden give him a better life? Thanks!

This confusing cause I just watched 2 other videos that say use the heat mat & not a over head lamp🤦🏾‍♀️

For everyone listening to this chick you don’t need UVB lighting as long as you leave D3 supplements and dust you’re insects in it you should be fine UVB just provides extra benefits for their bones 💯🤳🏽it’s an optional thing how ever lights is def a must
