I've had no issues with eco earth as long as i feed my leo outside the tank so he isnt going to ingest it. I used Excavator clay for a year but you cant really clean it, so i emptied it out and he's back to something i can spot clean and deep clean👍🏻

I tried to get an empty enclosure, but the tanks were on sale and the kit was cheaper and there was more room... so my dad got it :/ I'm not sure the light and heating is correct either :(

I've seen a lot of people saying that a 20 gallon is fine to permanently house a leopard or Chinese cave gecko? Do you think that they need a 40 gallon, like they shouldn't be in a 20 gallon at all? Because I've been thinking about a Chinese cave gecko and since they are similar size I was thinking around a 20 gallon or slightly bigger, but due to size constraints I don't think I can do anything bigger than a zoomed 25 gal (30"L X 12" W X 16"H)

I just use paper towels for my Subi. Have to watch her all the time she's a very weird leopard gecko. So she's albino she's a very picky eater, so I really really gotta watch Her. I can't have a whole bunch of stuff in there and it's horrible, I am looking for a place for her to go for somebody that can take care of her better than I can because I don't know what is wrong with this leppard. Gecko, but it's the only leppard gecko that I know of that is such a picky eater. That will go on strike all times a year without eating. And I feed her whatever she wants, I try everything, and she's just a very picky but she's not like getting skinny so that's good. Her tail is still fat and all that she's never laid any eggs. And I've had her since 2018. So I'm thinking it's really a boy.

carpet is always better than sand cause sand can cause impaction and even though they could get there toes stuck its more likely for them to eat sand cause they also lick the ground rather than repticarpet
