They should have lapped it under the valley onto the valley underfelt, they left an area that can be breached by rainwater as a result and done the same by breaking the overlapped felt on the next sheet up

Hello, Could you give me advice, I have a roof valley where they installed slate trim down along either side of the valley (where the slate meets the valley) I'm getting leaks dripping from under side of the fascia board about a foot from the valley meets the gutter. the water thankfully only seems to be at the ends of the roof and not getting into the house, are valleys with slate trim known for this issue or if not what else would cause an issue like this ? thank you.

all this old type of felt rots away at the eaves, solve by inserting eaves trays underneath, quicker easier and cheap to buy

just to let u know your lead is done wrong up both sides of your dormer roof it should be done in individual soakers rather than what looks like a 5ft length
