The KEY to EDITING a great CINEMATIC SEQUENCE

When we talk about editing cinematic sequences we tend to focus on transitions, color grading, and effects. But the KEY to editing a great cinematic sequence lies in the basic order of the clips. This tutorial covers my workflow for creating a cinematic sequence with flow and purpose. I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019, but these concepts and techniques apply to ALL editing software!

As a photographer walking into video world, one of the things I struggle the most is sequences and connecting them. This video is short yet so helpful! Thank you!

I've just started to learn video editing, I don't have a camera etc so I'm using games to learn which clearly limits me on what shots and scenes are available to work with, but that being said, your tutorials are really helpful and are giving me insights that I just haven't found elsewhere which is essential if you're self learning ... So thanks a million and keep them coming

Holy shit Aidin. I watched this on my TV but had to hop on my phone to write a comment. I’m high as shit and this was such a good video. It explained everything so well and the pictures for frames really really helped. You definitely called me right out by saying new editors will just grab clips in a chronological order and throw music / a transition over it and call it done 😅😂😂😂 I love how you wrote that it’s putting a puzzle together. So much fucking valuable content you provide man. Thank you so much!!!
