As a flight attendant I had a flight with ONE passenger on it. We kept making jokes about it being his “private jet” and he took a picture with us in the aisle. It was so cool lol

Happened to me once on a 10 hour flight. We were like 20 people in economy and each of us ended up sleeping in the middle rows and several rows apart from one another 😂

Happened to me once on a ~5hr flight and it was glorious. There were maybe 20-25 people on the whole plane and aside from couples/travel companions everyone had a row to themselves.

Happened to me on a 6 hr flight. Got delayed 12 hrs and everyone except maybe 10 people stayed on the original flight. They even gave us free snack boxes lol it was nice

Happened to me during covid! 😂 I was studying abroad and had to go back home, people ware denied entry to the plane outright, so there was about 10 people on the flight. Unfortunately it was a simple 2h flight.

Yes this has happened to me. We all pretty much took a row each so we could stretch out and go to sleep. And the crew loved that everyone was asleep so they could relax a bit more too.

YES. There were THREE of us aboard.
It was a 2 hour flight.
We literally had more cabin crew than passengers, it was absolutely glorious and the service was superb

My dad passed away two weeks ago but when I was a teen he used to take me with him everywhere. We once flew from LA to Tokyo and had a free seat in our row. I was able to lay down and sleep because of that and I thought it was the best thing ever. I’ll never forget those memories.

Yep. Had a nearly empty flight from Washington to Beijing. Had 3 people in the 25-seat mini economy section (plane built for Y+ but not configured with it). I had the whole right side, someone else took the left side and the third person took the middle. We flew north enough to see the Northern Lights. Had about 10 pillows and some blankets to build a window fort to block out light. Greatest flight ever.

When I flew home at the start of covid, there were 6 of us. Miraculously, some dude was seated right next to me.
The flight attendant was like "stay in your seats so we can check you properly, but after takeoff you can sit wherever" it was the best flight of my life.

I've tried something like it from JFK to AMS. I think we were around 7 PAX in economy of a KLM 747 Cargo Combo evening/night flight, no clue if there were any business or first class passengers.

Never have I tried 6 hours straight sleep before or after.

The crew was really nice, of course, as they weren't stressed out.

So it really just felt like a nice evening on the couch + "free" food, snacks and drinks served.

I've also tried getting upgraded to first in a jumbo going from Hong Kong to AMS, perhaps the most entertaining trip, as I was so lucky to get to sit next to a Scottish that had earned his wealth by working with oil from the north sea, never have I been that drunk through Amsterdam in transit to Copenhagen.

All fun and games until someone loose an arm. Those two flights share my number 1 ranking of flights ever.

Of course, it gets more likely when you do 20+ flights in both directions in a year.
