War on drugs. Last time we had a war on drugs we found out the CIA was helping ship mass amounts of cocaine into the US.

If it can grow wild in your yard, it shouldn't be illegal. Back in the early 60's, my mom, as a teen, threw her seeds out her best friend's window. They hung out every day and sneaked out to smoke on a regular basis. That kid's mom had no idea what plant was growing in her flowerbed, but started to tend it...until the cops showed up to talk about her Marijuana plants. Then the mom got busted and had never smoked weed a day in her life, nor dealt it, she just liked the green and purple plant that started growing.

I love the “let’s just make laws that people are willing to obey” argument. What a brilliant idea. This all comes back to the question of “why are seatbelts required?”

There should be no drug laws period. The only reason why they are illegal now is because the government cant figure out how to tax it. Im sure once we go digital dollar they wont have sny problems with buying and selling drugs because they will be able to tax it at point of sale.

The reason laws exist is to protect the people, having a law in place solely to imprison your citizens makes 0 sense.

Drugs should be a crime. Go to Portland and you’ll see why blanket legalization is a bad idea.

Legalize drugs. Alcohol prohibition created violent crime, so do drug laws!

Driving with a broken tail light cover is also "illegal"... we need to strip down to the basics and reform government

Right out of the gate the first guy brings up a terrific and important point. Return more power to the states.

Crime or legal is a false dichotomy. Misdemeanors are a class of offense. When people speak of decriminalization of drugs, they aren't making the same case as legalization. They just argue it should be punished with fines or very limited jail (not prison) time.

Thats a solid take. Works out Constitutionally.

The entire legal system is shell of Madness.

There a lot wrong with it. Most importantly the government has no right to tell an adult what they can and can’t put in their body under threat of violence.

They shouldn’t allow states to ban drugs or make them legal. It’s noted states.

Ot doesnt help if there are judges who then still release criminals regardless of the laws

They're under the same lights, yet the longhairs pupils are blackholes. That drugs still not legal.

But it's also bullschizz that marijuana is a Schedule 1 narcotic to begin with. I don't care what you don't like about marijuana or it's users, but marijuana ain't the same as heroin, cocaine, meth, phentylnal, cigarettes, or even alcohol.

It’s like they want you to think you’re safe with carrying weed and if they catch you with it they can decide whether they want to ruin your life over it or not.
