‘Getting good at stuff’ is one of my favorite aspects of life, whether that’s archery, music, or apologetics etc. However, I have struggled because sometimes I feel like I do too many different things and I never truly master anything completely. I’m a true jack of all trades, master of none. And I’ve made my peace with that to a certain extent. There’s an old Buddhist quote that goes ‘you cannot dig a well by digging 6 holes 1 foot deep, you only dig a well by digging one hole 6 feet deep’. I’ve been trying to balance these things my whole life.

Matt! I know this is random, but it made me feel better when you took off your glasses and pinched your nose. There’s a strange comforting feeling knowing someone else is uncomfortable with their glasses too.

The teacher reminds me of my math teacher. He made people cry during class. He caught me daydreaming once and asked me what he said, but I didn't know. After that he called on me over and over until at the end of the year I would still daydream but 1% of my brain could always recall what he was saying when he asked.

He's my favorite math teacher to this day because he made math a challenge. Something I hadn't really felt up to that point. I learned more math that year than any year of my life. I have mixed feelings similar to the character. Some people he was absurdly cruel to, but many kids never even have a teacher that set a high bar and make the students reach the bar instead of the other way around.

Pints of Aquinas yesterday on your live stream you and your colleague made inappropriate jokes about being autistic. When a few people flagged this on the live chat, your moderators gaslit and teased those who flagged it. We are all human, we all sin and have blindspots but if you choose to have a platform to represent catholics do better. If you were autistic, had autistic children or knew someone autistic maybe you and your staff would he more self aware...
