Damn, remember watching your videos way back when I was living in Aus. Now I'm a Freelancer in London too, who would have thought. Lovely machine, I do miss my iMac for sure but unfortunately my flats a bit small for desktops and hopefully, studios will be opening soon. Very much miss seeing and chatting with people face to face.

Can you test some native games with it mate? Like Dirt Rally, Arma 3, CSGO, Euro Truck Simulator, Civilization VI. No one has done a video yet.

Congratulations :), mac pro is defo a beast. I noticed in some of your answers to the comment that you chose this to futureproof yourself, I would like to know why staying with Mac not self build PC? In August my old trusty iMac started playing about to the point i cant do anything with it, and I had to replace it fast as it is my main tool for work. At first i thought yes i just go for Mac Pro and upgrade that to what i need in it. But price did not make any sense to me. I thought why not to build it myself, so no i have a beast of a PC that's better then even mid range upgraded Mac Pro for a less cost. I am now able to do anything i want with my PC including overpowered (unnecessary) upgrades if i want. I just wanted to know why did you chose this machine? #curious

I can only agree, you did the right choice. I ordered a cheap basic version 8 core 256 SDD and the 580 Graphic.... and was shocked. So it was shipped back 2 days later and now I am going to order the 12 Core Version and will also take the 5700 which is perfect for our filmscanning

well this is a surprise gone stationary but then it is necessary for video work, I got myself 2 laptops back end of of 2019 first one was the autumn 2019 MacBook 13 reason for this was mainly i had been away for a few days and tried to do some work with my at the time current 15 MBP and space was a premium when I was travelling so decided to get something smaller and then a few months later I decided to update my 2016 MBP to the new 16 and I did spec it up with the Graphic card mainly and 32gb memory, I work across, many design platforms so needed something that could be used from web design/dev to print design, branding and like you video work so the MBP 16 was a good fit for me with it hooked up to a dell 34 inch Ultrawide another 2019 purchase I made earlier in the year. Personally never owned a Mac pro ever had plenty of imacs and power books/MBP over the years and maybe one day I will get one but I think like you Tim its a need and personally I don't need it atm as 6k is a heavy investment for me maybe in a few years I will get myself one or if fate was kind to me to win the lottery lol
