That's Amazing how the actors look so much like the Character they played. I do believe that they all did meet up in the heavenly realms just like the ending of the film.

Such a sad event in history. Even afterwards the survivors still suffered from the event. Very nice video you put together.

I looked after a lady in a nursing home who was 6 at this time. She remembered all the news boys, etcetera, but she said that she didnt understand the fuss until she was a few years older. She as 105 when she passed away.

Margaret Brown wasn’t known as “Molly” until the 1960 movie. She was known as “the unsinkable Mrs Brown” in real life. Her nickname was “maggie”

Thank you Sarah , I love any thing about the Titanic. .my Husband, s Great grand father was a builder working on the ship. My Mother in law went with him to see the Ship. But never talked about it. Hope you are all well. Love from Africa ❤️

"Molly" was never her nickname, Margaret had gone by Maggie as a child but preferred Margaret as an adult. "Molly" was basically a characterization created by the media. Her and her ex-husband were basically "new money" but she wasn't the country bumpkin as portrayd. She had completed the 8th grade and then studied art and literature before setting off as an adult where she worked labor jobs but she was very capable to take on fundraising and other organizational roles when opportunity presented itself.

Gracie died later that year from effects of that night and diabetes, the first survivor known to die. Hartley was asked before the voyage what he would play on a sinking ship " I cannot think of a better choice than 'Nearer My God to Thee'"

How are you the richest man on the ship and you somehow still didn't survive?
