Why I DON'T Use Electric Lighters....

There are a lot of different lighter options out there, I thought getting an electric one would be pretty cool. It wasn't.

I was super dumb/desperate at one point and only had an electric lighter on me and tried to light up a one hitter (fully aluminum so you can imagine how that went). Got shocked and it didn't even light the flower up. That was the last time I used an electric lighter lmao

They are the best for lighting fireworks fuses because they are super wind resistant and you can light an exact spot on the fuse

i have a small little arc lighter, it works great. no taste from the fuel and, because its more tricky to light a bowl, you have more control over the burn area and can finesse a smoother hit

i tried an electric lighter pretty recently, definitely inferior to a normal lighter, but i like that i can just recharge it. i have two dogs, and neither of them seem to care thankfully, but still mid overall.

So grateful dude I had the same thoughts about gas-free lighting but I have nerve damage neurological nerve damage and high-pitched frequencies are quite painful to me so I'm grateful for this video

I’ve been torching a quartz rod, and just tapping it on my flower and it burns wonderfully, started doing it two years ago and haven’t looked back

I used them for 2 reasons 1) is to cleanly remove the top of a joint 2) I’m too cheap to by a heated dab tool so I hold onto a piece of rubber and use that to remove dabs off my tool cleanly

The whole idea of hemp wick is a joke, lighting the wick lighter with another lighter is just simply dumb.

i have no idea why people dislike buthane lighters so much, they have no smell since the buthane decays into co2 and h2o basic chemistry, they DON'T make you inhale flint (josh kessleman once said that clippers ruin your weed because the flint gets on your stuff), however they are cheap to buy, refill and maintain. there's a reason why those elegant british gentlemen use buthane to light their cigars that cost more than my house.

they are pushing it because a 20 dollar flashy gadget brings in more money to startups than a 2 dollar clipper. and the only demographic i can see this work with is people who would want to hide a lighter, which is weird because every kid vapes nowadays

edit: oh and a clipper doesn't explode.

I tried a bunch of lighter options. Clippers are pretty decent, if you want cheap and refillable.

Ultimately tho, I settled on a Zippo with a butane insert that produces a soft flame. Not the flame jet you see a lot of.

Its pretty much everything you can ask for. Still gotta replace flint and refill it, but the fuel doesnt evaporate now.

Its classic, classy, makes a good fidget tool, and it works very well. Plus no lighter fluid taste.

In my experience dogs are even scared of my ecig vapes like if you put it near any of my moms dogs and press the fire button they try to get away as fast as possible, they hate it, any noise to you is ten times louder to them

The higher end ones have longer arcs that literally function like a flame and you can smoke a 'pipe' with them like a normal lighter but I also found they don't put out that same high frequency sound.

My favorite ways to light is using hardware store matches. I'll let the tip burn for like two seconds and then light my dry pipe.
Completely avoids the chemical taste of gas lighters and the burnt taste of electric and plasma lighters.

Here because i am considering purchasing a electric lighter for my propane stove but i used to smoke medical many years ago and hemp wick is significantly better than a lighter. Cleaner, tastes better. Whats even better than that is a red hot tip of a butter knife pressed down on your bowl, try it.
